Workforce Demand Tools

The tools on this site draw on datasets from the Credential Finder, Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, Georgia Association of Regional Commissions, Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia Top State for Talent, National Center for Education Statistics, O*NET, and the University System of Georgia to help institutions make informed decisions about program offerings. Through data analysis, institutions can identify skill gaps in their current curricula and decide whether to update existing programs or develop new ones. Additionally, this data-driven approach enables the creation of more relevant course content, guides the design of new traditional programs, Bachelor of Applied Science-Reduced Credit programs, and microcredentials, and assists career services staff in providing students with current guidance on in-demand careers and salary trends. This strategic use of data helps institutions ensure their graduates are well-prepared for the job market, thereby improving student success and enhancing the institution's reputation as a valuable partner in regional economic growth.
